How we work together, in plain English.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Who these terms are for
These terms apply when a business hires Halden Commerce for marketing work. Our services are for businesses, not consumers. Your proposal sets out exactly what we'll do; if anything in it differs from these terms, the proposal wins.
2. Prices
Prices are fixed and agreed in your proposal before work starts. The Quick Fix is £149, the Growth Sprint is £375 and the Monthly Partner plan is £350 a month. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
Launch offer: our first 10 clients get 20% off the Growth Sprint (£300). One per business, while places last, and it can't be combined with other discounts.
3. Paying us
- Quick Fix: paid in full when you book.
- Growth Sprint: half to start, half when the work is live.
- Monthly Partner: paid monthly in advance.
- Invoices are due within 7 days. Card payments are handled securely by Stripe; we never see your card details.
- If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid.
4. What we need from you
Accurate information about your products, prices, delivery and returns, plus the photos, reviews and access listed in our onboarding form. If these arrive late, our dates move by the same amount.
5. Changes and approval
Every project includes two rounds of changes. Further changes are quoted separately. Nothing goes live without your written approval (an email is fine), and you're responsible for checking that what we say about your products is accurate before you approve it.
6. Who owns the work
Once you've paid in full, you own everything we make for you. We'll only show your work or results publicly with your permission.
7. Results
We work hard to help you sell more, but nobody can honestly guarantee a sales figure. We'll always tell you what changed, good or bad.
8. Cancelling
- Growth Sprint: cancel before work starts and we'll refund your deposit in full. After that, you pay for the work done so far.
- Monthly Partner: cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
9. Tools and platforms
We use third-party platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo and Meta, and AI tools to research and draft faster. Every piece is checked by a person before it reaches you. We can't control those platforms and aren't responsible for their outages or policy changes.
10. Liability
Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you've paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11. Your data
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy. Where we work in your email platform, we only use your customers' data to do the work you've asked for.
12. Questions and complaints
Email hello.haldencommerce@outlook.com and we'll reply within 2 working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
